Salary sacrifice pension with SMP calculations??

Hi all HR and payroll bods,

I currently sacrifice 15% of my gross pay into a salary sacrifice pension scheme... My question is, will my first 6 weeks of SMP be calculated on my original gross pay (annual salary / 13 as I'm paid 4-weekly) or would it be calculated on my new gross pay (annual salary / 13 - 15%)

I've just been on the phone to Money Advice Service AND HMRC and no one knows the answer - WTH! I don't want to ask my colleagues as it's early days and they are not aware of my pregnancy yet :)
