Am due to get a bit of money soon and it will be in euros so I'm keen to keen it in euros until the exchange rate improves in our favour. First of all do I have to be resident in a euro country to have a savings account and can you find me the best interest bearing account.

Hmmm, bit difficult question really as it depends on which euro country you want to invest it in. As far as I know, here in Germany you have to be a resident to open a bank account. Don't you get euro savings accounts with British banks though? I am sure my mum said something about that.

This is from the Bank of Scotland, but I think other banks offer similar services

have a look at \www.bankofscotland-international.com/savings/euro_guaranteed_saver.asp\this}
