Childcare vouchers and redundancy

Hi, my dh is about to be made redundant and is offered 12 weeks salary and the stat redundancy. We collect childcare vouchers, but we're not being offered 3 months childcare vouchers for the 12 weeks salary, which seems unfair, it is a salary and we'd like the vouchers. Anyway around this?
