Hi, my MIL passed away 3 years ago. A few years before she died she wanted to give my husband and her daughter a large amount of money to share. The money was paid into SIL's bank account. After MIL died my SIL had control of the property as she was on the deeds. The house was only sold a few months ago. My husband did get his half share in the house, not a large amount but we decided that we would invest it for our children so have not used any of that money. My SIL never mentioned the money MIL had given before she died until a few weeks ago. She said she would sort it out! So far nothing. My husband will not discuss it as he fears it will cause arguments. How do I get her to pay us the money without causing upset
