MLM Bot Watch 38 - Large cheques are not forever

Whiterangey · 27/04/2018 21:00

I think the members of the Anti-MLM Coalition in the UK deserves to be recognised for the reduced cheques that have been received by the Forever Living bots in the UK.

They have worked tirelessly to spread the Anti-MLM message which seemed like a pointless battle when they started.

Yet here we are, the message is getting out there, and people are beginning to get the message.

People are listening. Ex-bots are telling their stories and encouraging others to leave or not to join MLM's.

You are all awesome and have worked so hard, you deserve so much respect for helping so many people.

Anyone know what Castle’s mate got? The one who was in the force with her?

Ladiva1971 · 28/04/2018 00:06

Those cheques are seriously bad compared to previous years considering they eat, sleep and breath FL 24/7. I cannot imagine committing myself to a company like that for such piss poor rewards, and after converting the $ into £ It's even more dismal.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 28/04/2018 00:15

@Whiterangey - you missed Someotherbot, down from 56k to 53k, probably the only one, along with Somebot not to have suffered a catastrophic decline.

Still those that have managed to collect a cheque this year (unlike Yawn) have all seen a drop, usually the sort of drop that would see the CEO sacked and investors running for the hills if they were running a real business.

No matter how any of the individual bots spin it (taking time off, personal issues, renovation commitments etc.), the fact is that the wheels have well and truly come off the FLP UK bandwagon.

Another thing- unless I was collecting a significant cheque, I would not subject myself to a cattle class flight and a week sharing a cramped hotel room in Dallas, punctuated by deathly boring "trainings" and a-whooping and a-Hollerith sessions with a bunch of fandoms. Even if it was "free".

Twentytwentyhindsight · 28/04/2018 00:17

Castle's ex-copper mate is the one who got 22k (107k last year).

Whiterangey · 28/04/2018 00:21

Oh, my bad, i've listed her as Ubers BFF.

So it appears that Yawn got a big fat cheque of zero....There’s no way she can explain herself out of this one. Surely her existing downline will wake up and abandon ship.

I guess her adjusted accounts were needed in order for her to try and re-mortgage her house or maybe she will have to think about selling her house as the income just can’t be there. All these distraction techniques she is using such as setting up a new business (because she needs to get new recruits, somehow), downsizing her car (only because she cannot afford the Range) doing up her house (because she needs an excuse when she doesn’t get a cheque), have all back-fired and are as shallow as her filtered photos. Oh well, no doubt she’s budgeted for the corporation tax and vat that she will have to pay on her bizniz.

Watching the rally in disbelief about the cheques this year!!!!

And the constant whooping is just so exhausting!

Did castles sister get one? She’s constantly on the case on social media I’m shocked she didn’t get a cheque! It shows what a total sham it is! I watched her live on the team page of castle getting her cheque and she made a comment along the lines of even though her sister was not working her biz-ness full time she still gets a cheque!

I’m
Sorry but castle is non stop on team pages and other social media. They have produced a whole new website for the team and is constantly pushing incentives. Totally doing it full time but clearly it’s not paying off anymore. What a drop!
So glad I’m out of it now and have. Nice steady JOB!

Bovneydazzlers · 28/04/2018 02:15

Seems like guys posting on Castle’s page ‘guess the cheque’ can’t believe the (low) amount either...

Bovneydazzlers · 28/04/2018 02:19

And roomie’s videos could not make the global rally look any less appealing... Everyone looks bored, enforced flag waving, presume these things go on for hours?!

Whiterangey · 28/04/2018 02:30

No, Castles sister did not get a cheque at all.

So if Castle was hustling non stop, more than ever this year yet she said she wasn't working hard due to personal reasons, which I think I heard something about a loss, that is disgusting.

She used a loss to try and excuse to those beneath her who she is scamming that her cheque is low due to her not working hard enough, not because it's all but over for forever in the UK.

It's true though, we saw that website video where castle was talking about the new website and everything, she'd put a lot of work into that.

$120,781 for castle

moose23ishungry · 28/04/2018 05:18

Whoops just saw you've already seen that news!!

ArbunneHun · 28/04/2018 06:47

The painful truth here is that the reasons they use to explain the drop in cheque size - bereavement, illness, family issues, life changes (moving house, for example) - are the same painful, disruptive trauma that they have no sympathy or understanding for if their downline is suffering through it. No, they get short shrift and are told to get back to work and keep bringing in the ccs by many FL up lines.

ArbunneHun · 28/04/2018 06:50

So, I think it’s fair to say that in the UK Forever Living is dying on its arse.

Bit early for a glass of #bubbles or a #cocko but it does feel like we should be toasting this.

Cheers, huns!

user1479228519 · 28/04/2018 07:08

I’m looking into a lot of the bots fb & instagram pages and it’s just full of Forever stuff. How exhausting to live your life that way.?
I still cannot believe that even though they are pushing so hard and clearly fl has completely engulfed their lives that the cheques this year are so low ( sorry to sound like a broken record)
By the time you put the money into £ and take off the tax on some of the lower cheques I cannot see what all the fuss is about.
Castle and her siblings are so smug on team pages and have so many minions bots that give them constant praise and have put them into almost celebrity status it’s embarrassing!

Castle has done the website, organised several ‘training’ events ( all paid for by bots) and travelled to Sweden..constantly on team pages / lives .... well that’s if that’s not putting 100% into it I don’t know what is!!! When I was in fl 2 yrs ago I really thought that the following year she’s be close to the $1million it’s just been a constant drop!

Also I cringe when they call themselves entrepreneurs ... really huns......

Norma27 · 28/04/2018 07:09

Cheers Arbunne! I know you have been instrumental in working to bring awareness of these scams to more people. Thank you and fantastic work.
Going to get myself a glass (or 3 or 4)of something to watch tonight’s events.

Would yawn have been aware she wasn’t getting a cheque?

SoftlyCatchyMonkey1 · 28/04/2018 07:11

Could someone pm me (Hun) and tell me who the names are....I did Flp (for a few months) so am very interested!

darceybussell · 28/04/2018 07:42

Hi huns! Have had a quick look at the Facebook list and there are quite a few top forever bots who were high up on the bonus list from last year who don't appear to have qualified for cheques at all this year. Their teams must have collapsed from under them! What a shame for them, they might have to do something else instead. Turns out it's not a residual income after all.

Norma, they have certain criteria that they need to meet to get a cheque and they'll be monitoring that all year. So yes, they know about the cheque the moment they qualify (or conversely, they know when they get to the end of the year and haven't met the criteria).

entrepeneur · 28/04/2018 07:45

Residual income is a complete lie and it's awful that they dangle that over the Minion Bots.

I also watched a training video with a Swedish Bot who was on the Live last night. I often hear bots talking about a 'willable income' and how you can leave your riches to your children. The Swedish Bot said he inherited his business from his mother. It was a thriving business apparently, even though he later said that his parents couldn't afford to give him nice things. He then went on to say you can't rest on your laurels and expect people to keep buying from you unless you regularly call and check in with them to get an order. He also said the same for your downline.

Quite clearly residual and a will-able income is utter bollocks and these cheques are proof of that. No job security can be found in any MLM company. I hope shit starts to get real for the top bots that have conned and lied their way to amassing a fortune from other people's hard work.

ForTheTimeBeing · 28/04/2018 08:25

A (or possibly the) Scottish top bot - who was Top UK Manager in December 2017 - received a cheque for $11,753 this year. Last year, she got $36,984 and presumably similar amounts in the previous years, as she claims that she was paid over $100,000 over the last four years.
Business is obviously booming, not!

AQuestionofIntent · 28/04/2018 08:25

Been reading with interest as a good friend (ha that just autocorrected to avoid friend!) has been sucked in and I’m really concerned. Could someone also pm me the names so I can be on alert! Think I know who Yawn is but not 100% sure

Fence80786 · 28/04/2018 08:31

I can’t imagine the pressure both financial and emotional that people will be under. Yawn’s ‘retired’ henpecked husband must be crapping himself. They have had 3 maybe 4 ‘good’ years and now it’s over!! Can’t imagine the arguments that will be had over money or lack of money in their household.

Maybe some people will see the bigger picture and see how MLM’s can cause the destruction of the very things that people hold sacred.

Were all the trainings and success days etc worth missing a friend’s birthday celebration, a good friend’s wedding, a loved one’s funeral? Was it worth cutting off all your real friends to be surrounded by only FL friends? Yawn appears to ONLY have FL friends. Her only job is to bring in money for her upline. If she’s not bringing any money in for them she is no longer useful and as a consequence she will be dropped.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 28/04/2018 08:46

I do hope for the top bots that they made hay while the sun was shining.

I hope for them that, when the cheques were large, they used those windfalls wisely, and placed this money in prudent investments.

It would be terrible if they had instead ploughed this money into conspicuous consumption and an unsustainable wealth-signalling lifestyle in order to draw more people into their clearly unsustainable pyramid scheme, blithely believing the good times were Forever...

Big mortgages, expensive car leases, private school fees, etc. are not easy outgoings to trim without major adjustments.

As top businesspeople, I'm sure they were aware of all this an planned accordingly.Grin

There are definitely former FLP top(ish) bots out there who have had to unretire partners, sell cars, stop supporting other family members etc etc. It’s tough on them. They really thought it was residual and that they could live life at that level for ever.

The truth has been painful, and you either have to try to keep up the pretence, not seem desperate and hurl yourself non stop into trying to stop the grains of sand trickling through your fingers, or you quietly slink away, cut your losses, go back to work.

Neither option is easy.
