MLM Bot Watch 38 - Large cheques are not forever

Whiterangey · 27/04/2018 21:00

I think the members of the Anti-MLM Coalition in the UK deserves to be recognised for the reduced cheques that have been received by the Forever Living bots in the UK.

They have worked tirelessly to spread the Anti-MLM message which seemed like a pointless battle when they started.

Yet here we are, the message is getting out there, and people are beginning to get the message.

People are listening. Ex-bots are telling their stories and encouraging others to leave or not to join MLM's.

You are all awesome and have worked so hard, you deserve so much respect for helping so many people.

Roomie has now caused me to spend money as that rather nice bikini top she's wearing in one photo reminded me I needed new bikinis for my holiday 😳

Whiterangey · 08/05/2018 10:02

I do suck at maths, but it's obviously i'm worse at it than I thought, I can't even recognise numbers.

Given that it was an online information evening, i'm guessing to try and get new recruits, that is very poor. Out of that 9, 2 of them were the two bots she mentions who were presenting, plus herself, which makes 6 left.

Some of the 6, if not all, are likely already bots.

One of the 'Model' former nurse downline has announced that she has stopped doing 'Forever' - she received a $10k cheque last year so that's a good down line lost

Spongebobette · 08/05/2018 11:24

I see they are doing the ‘work hard for 5-10 years and then have the ultimate freedom’ bollox on that massively popular live

It used to be 3- 5 years to financial freedom

Anyone know any bots who actually have this so called financial freedom??

moose23ishungry · 08/05/2018 11:48

Wow roomie blocked my fake profile- I never commented on anything only likes. Guess yawn is telling her what to do..

entrepeneur · 08/05/2018 12:04

Mr Yawn is being touted as the poster husband for Aloegunk so I guess he's back in business? Does he have a team or did Yawn just sign him up as she needed the recruit?

Whiterangey · 08/05/2018 12:06

Yawn has been working her tits off for 8 years and her income has decreased rapidly.

The same with all the other big bots.

I wonder if any bots have made the decision to leave based on how badly her business is doing.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 08/05/2018 12:50

entrepeneur MrYawn was believed to be quietly working for Yawn's BFF' ex-husband's (non-aloeshite) business.

My betting is that she needed a new recruit and he was available as he's never seemed to actively "work the bizz"

ArbunneHun · 08/05/2018 13:00

@Whiterangey - I’ve got to step in here, you #neghead!

Firstly, there were probably at least 80 people crowded round each of those 6 computers that were connected to Roomie’s zoom last night. In fact they probably hired cinemas & church halls to screen it because demand was so high!

Secondly, the cheques are down/non existent because every single FLP manager took a year off last year. Pure coincidence, but they all did. Or maybe someone sent a memo round? I don’t know. But they’re back now and this year will be different!

Get your #mindset back on track, hun!

CodLiverOil556 · 08/05/2018 13:21

Oooh I appear to have commented...awaiting the blocking Grin

Hehe Ilovekermit

I'm sitting on my hands trying not to comment as I don't want to be blocked as she really is hilariously desperate and full of the bullshit. Clearly a protégé of Yawn.

willdoitinaminute · 08/05/2018 13:42

Interesting that Yawn is encouraging her down line to sign up their DHs.

Norma27 · 08/05/2018 13:46

Ha ha Kermit! I constantly want to comment but don’t as don’t want to be blocked.
Have accidentally liked a few posts tho. And once friended sleaze by accident!

Norma27 · 08/05/2018 13:47

Still spaces available for shit mlm photo shoot of the year. Only £50. Any takers?

BSintolerant · 08/05/2018 13:47

Naughty, naughty kermit!

Times are hard in Foreverland. Some fool of a bot has been sticking their flp website details to traffic crossings in these parts - just above the button. That's more akin to vandalism than marketing, that is.

ArbunneHun · 08/05/2018 14:01

Worth sending to FLP compliance & the DSA to ask whether they endorse this behaviour, and if not, what the sanctions/enforcement actions are, @BSintolerent...

FleeBee · 08/05/2018 15:04

Please can someone message me who Yawn's BFF is?
The numerous people I know who were in FL have all stopped completely now. Is this now the end of the road no new blood to suck in?

Whiterangey · 08/05/2018 16:27

If i've just seen someone post an actual cheque from FLP is that against FLP rules?

Can I report them to compliance? If so, how would someone go about doing that?

OP posts:
Whiterangey · 08/05/2018 17:01

@Norma27 There were 20 tickets to be sold, only 2 have gone. One of those will be Yawn, so they have only sold 1 ticket.

OP posts:
Norma27 · 08/05/2018 17:13

That is crazy. Can’t think why more haven’t sold!

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 08/05/2018 17:31

Anyone else finding the fawning "oh you're so wonderful, so supportive, so great " and "I love this product/my business" posts and the likes/loves after Yawn's posts .....all from the same half dozen or so bots.....hilariously obvious.

As subtle as a brick

Fredathetortoise · 08/05/2018 18:04

An acquaintance has announced on fb that she's become an independent travel agent, and posted a slogan 'Adventure Awaits. Is this an MLM? I couldn't find it on Botwatch

CodLiverOil556 · 08/05/2018 18:08

@Fredathetortoise I think it's Ariixx...pretty sure they were branching off into travel

Whiterangey · 08/05/2018 18:13

I actually feel sorry for the photographer at Yawn's headshot thing. As far as I can tell she is the only non-MLM person there. Sounds like she is trying to get her name out there as a photographer and getting more photos for her portfolio won't harm either.

Almost £50 for a non professional headshot is extortionate.

Not to mention you also have Stella and Dot providing the jewellry and Poonique providing the makeup, applied by someone who will know as much about applying makeup as I do. The clothes are an MLM as well and the person who is taking them to the photoshoot is asking for new team members on her page.

The MLM is called Captain Tortue, not one i've heard of. You pay £150 for your initial collection. Sounds a bit like Lularoe in that it doesn't seem like you can choose what fabrics you get.

It seems just like Lularoe in that you get the clothes for 50% off their retail price and then sell them for full retail price thus making a profit.

Building a team under you gets you commissions.

OP posts:
Whiterangey · 08/05/2018 18:36

I just looked into Captain Tortue and most of the clothes are hideous. They look okay on the stick thin models on the actual website, but do not suit anyone with boobs/bum/belly.

On real people the majority of the clothes look very cheap and poorly made. From what I can gather you are paying a lot of money for the clothes, we aren't talking Primark or George prices for the clothes. Yet the quality seems to be absolutely shit, think cheap clothes you find on ebay that are from China.
