Anyone had an extra payment from child tax credits this week?

I have. I'm confused. It isn't a bank holiday but it is sometimes the time of year they make adjustments so could it be that? Trying to work out if it's actually mine

Nope. I updated my claim a week ago and waiting to hear back (updating childcare). Website says it can take upto 4 weeks. My apps locked me out so i can’t tell when my next payment is due.

Yes I got a random £200 despite the letter telling me they had overpaid me

Apparently it's mine. Not entirely sure I trust them though

I would maybe phone to confirm. I got extra money last year for them to then take it back off me this year and said I had been overpaid. Frustrating but they can do it apparently
