Sixth form, university ... what dates to give for child benefit etc

Hi
My oldest child will finish sixth form soon and the plan is to go to university away from home if exam grades allow. What date do I give to tax credits etc for last day of school? Is it the last day of term? Last exam? Last day final coursework for btecs is handed in? Also, if he has a summer job between then and going to university will this have an effect on me? I know he can work while at school and it doesn’t change things but once he isn’t at school anymore does it mean I have to start handing his payslips in and get money deducted? I’m thinking of housing benefit specifically and probably also child tax credits (i don’t get working tax credits). I know he is keen to work as much as possible over the summer.

Thanks in advance.

Your child will remain eligible for CTC and CB and 31 August regardless of when they leave school.
