Earning or profit for MA bit confused

To claim MA I know I need to earn £30 a week average over 13 of 26 weeks. Does that mean £30 earned or £30 profit?

Don't know about MA but earning is profit not turnover if that's what you're asking

Well for housing benefit earnings are after expenses if that helps?
