Transferring a balance from a House of Fraser Santander Card

I want to transfer the balance from my HOF store card. Just tried to transfer it to my Sainsbury’s Card, and was told that HOF/Santander will not accept their payments. Does anyone know if there are any CC companies that HOF/Santander will accept payment from?

Were they trying to pay your bill off or do a proper balance transfer?
