Hi all, is a joint bank account statement an accepted proof of address?

Thankyou ☺

Yes but normally it's has to be dated within three months though.

A photo driving licence would normally be okay too

Photo driving licence. If you don’t drive do you have have time to apply for a provisional licence? That still gives a photo ID.

Most places won’t accept a driving license as a proof of address, only as ID. I guess it’s because it’s usually not recent.

As mentioned above you usually need something that’s dated within the last three months, like a bill or bank statement.

A joint bank statement should be fine.

I have used my driving licence as proof of address lots of times. Regardless of the date on it, as if your address is not correct on it you are breaking the law.
You can also use a bank or credit card statement dated within three months, your last council tax/water bill or benefits letter. It just has to have your name on it, so a joint account is fine.
