We have just had our claim acknowledged and our bank are putting ina defence, does anyone know what happens next?

Have been meaning to get round to doing this but been busy having a baby. Have heard in the media aboyt banks giving you back the charges and then closing your account, any one had that prob? I'm with First Direct, has anyone claimed charges back from them? thanks
