Is it dodgy to check PPI claims online?

I keep seeing these PPI claim companies popping up. I click on them and then get nervous when they ask for my address and date of birth. Does anyone know of a non-dodgy way to check? Is it worth bothering? I don’t know anyone who’s actually been owed anything.

You can do it all yourself. See money saving expert for help.

Money saving expert site is very helpful. I've got back £9,430 from Capital One so its worth investigating.
