What triggers a change from WTC to UC?

For example, if you told them you had changed jobs, same amount of hours roughly, would it be classed as a new claim and therefore trigger UC? Would hate to go on this before I have to as there are so many horror stories.

No that is not a trigger it is a change of circumstances where you remain entitled to the same benefit, a trigger is where a brand new claim would have to be made for a benefit.
