Tax Return - finding it impossible to log-in to do my self-assessment

Decided to spend this morning doing my self-assessment tax return. Have correct user ID and password saved from previous years (when I don't recall having any issues logging in), so logged those and got to the next stage - the phone generated unique six number code - fine. When I type it in and press enter I'm being logged off my internet (it's happened five times now). I'm getting a bit now...

Using internet fine for general 'Google' searches, email sending etc... so it's not a poor internet connection?

Any ideas most gratefully received.

Have you tried clearing your cookies and internet history?

Or logging in from another device?

19lottie82 thanks for tips. Did flirt with the idea of using another device but hadn't actually tried. Will do so.

Not guaranteeing it will work but that would be what I would try first anyway.... good luck!
