Help! I don't know what kind of financial service I need.

My dad was German. He and my mum lived all their married lives in the UK, and mum only speaks English. I only speak English Blush. She gets a widow's pension from Germany. I'm not sure if this is a state pension or an occupational pension from a previously nationalised employer. MN has kindly helped us to understand some of the letters she has been getting, but to be honest we are overwhelmed by the communications from Deutsche Bank, the pensions office and the tax office. I would really like to pay somebody to sort it all out - but I can't work out what kind of service we need. All I can find are services for British expats working in Germany, based in Germany. Should I ask them? Should I ask a bilingual accountant in the UK? Any advice so gratefully received!
