Regular but name changed!

Ok indecent assault charges - historical- referred to magistrates court for I think entering a plea.

where will the case be heard - magistrates or crown court ?
Is there a protocol or is it pot luck or down to merits of each case??

Thanks

It's probably somewhere in the Criminal Procedure Rules .

I'll refrain from wishing you luck as I don't know the facts, but wish only that the the truth may out.

BTW, even if you're in the Magistrates Court, if they think it's too serious for their sentencing powers, then they can always commit you to the Crown Court for sentence.
