Unintentional balance transfer twice

So I have wasted so much time ringing backwards and forwards and being told it's the other providers responsibility.

I have a card (A) and a balance of £1000.

I apply for card B and to transfer the £1000 balance.

I set up online banking for card B. No pending transactions. I activate Card B when it arrives.

On Thursday I redo the balance transfer to Card A.

On Friday I check and the available balance has reduced by £2000. I ring B, they cannot recall the transfer.

On Saturday I have a credit of £1000 on Card A.

I have spent five calls being told Card A should refund and then that card B should recall. Both have said to complain about the other.

Card B now say they can recall but it will take 6 to 8 weeks and Card A may decline.

T and C for Card A say you cannot pay up to a credit balance and they may refund to the originating account.

What next? I can't find an email address.

Why did you re-do the transfer?

If they can't recall it then you can just transfer back 1000 from card B to card A to put you at zero, it might cost you a fee but perhaps they would waive it if you asked them.

Because it wasn't showing as pending . So I assumed it was part of the application but I had to process it.
