Does anyone know if I will get awarded pip even thought I work part time ? I have a 2 year old but was in a phsyciatrc hospital for 2 weeks because I severe depression and tried to end my own life do I fit the criteria for pip x I don’t have any diagnosis x

I get PIP for MH reasons and I still work. I got it first time round and get the enhanced rate.

Theres a website called work and benefits which is really helpful when applying for benefits such as PIP/ESA. Google it and it should show alot.

How? I was told that if I could move from my bed to my toilet I wouldn't get PIP. I asked about work and was laughed at by both assessors.

Being awarded Pip isn't really based on a diagnosis but on how your illness affects you. However do make sure you send any diagnosis letters and details of any traetment or therapy you are having with your application as it all helps as evidence.

Just to let you know my experience of Personal Independence Payment.
I was working full time last year. I have arthritis in both my hands so need my daughters help to, wash my hair, dry it, peel vegetables all small things. From how I understand PIP is that if you need help with daily living task whether you are working or not you can claim it. I just get the daily living part £55.00 per week. I think it depends on how much help you need.
