Sure Start Maternity Grant gone up to 750?????????????

A firend told me in the week that the grant had gone up or going up to 750 is this true?

I received mine 2 weeks ago and it was £500.

DWP website has it as £500. I think your friend has either been given faulty info or tried an April Fool joke on you.

megandsoph - how long did it take for them to tell you that you'd got it (not actually receive the money - but just know you were defo getting it)? Just wondered as I sent the form nearly 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet.
