as per an ongoing complaint i have asked mumsnet about previously i recieved a letter from the 'operations Director' who said regarding rent arrears that are my husbands and not mine:
"Legally you are correct" HOORAH! Not able to actually say "Sorry Mrs custy" Mr OD continues, "however as you were in occupation of the property at the time the arrears accrued, this issue is somewhat clouded?"
fkin clouded????????????
in my letter which i won't bore you with i have responded thus:
"Not legally clouded though? Mr OD has conceded "Legally you are correct" therefore I don't understand? Is this a moral issue? Morally, I was living in the property so even though in Law I have no rights to that property, morally I should still pay?
AM I being judged on a moral standing? Are you implying my actions are immoral ?....
I am paying the arrears which 'legally' are not mine and have never EVER intimated I would not. Just that you were wrong.
CHEEKY FUCKERS! questioning my morals.
they conceed they are wrong in law - so uestion the morality of the whole thing
