Vitality Life / illness cover

I'm thinking of swapping critical illness and life cover to Vitality. I had previously thought of signing up to the local Virgin gym so the discount offer is very tempting.

Does anyone have any good/bad experiences with Vitality?

Some older CI policies include cover for conditions that newer ones don't, so it would be wise to check your existing policy documents carefully to be very clear on what you'd be giving up.

Vitality are trying to get people to take more responsibility for their own health, and if you think that you will be able to meet their yearly criteria for clocking up the required points to maintain discounts throughout the policy term then they can be good value.

I've been with vitality forever - was prudential until a few years ago. I've not looked into their lifestyle thing as was complicated years ago! No apps back then! It's impossible to know if they are any good until you make a claim. Which thank heavens I haven't! I'm now going to look at their lifestyle thing incase I can save some money!
