hello mine come every four weeks on a monday, next lot is due on april 16th.

colditz · 03/04/2007 22:07

Mine come on Thursdays, so not always the same.

EllieKthePA · 03/04/2007 22:08

if your payment is due monday, it will be in this thursday.

or that's what the poster in the Post Office says

EllieKthePA · 03/04/2007 22:08

mine were in early last week too, guess they must have been more efficient than usual

MrsWho · 03/04/2007 22:14

mine are every thursday

lizziemun · 04/04/2007 12:33

If you due on friday or monday you will get them on thursday as the money has to be available to on the day it is due.

Hideehi · 04/04/2007 23:00

So when would Tuesday's arrive - is there any logical pattern or should we just be pleased if they arrive at all lol

1980cat · 05/04/2007 09:14

The day they are avaliable is nothing to do with Tax Credits, they put them to the bank about 4 days before it is your bank that can make them avaliable to you early.
So as far as tax credits are concerned if they are due on the Monday they will be there by the Monday.

Aloveheart · 05/04/2007 09:17

I got mine in today and they are due monday I've just checked.

AnnabelCaramel · 05/04/2007 09:19

I'm about to apply. If I'm eligible, can they be backdated does anyone know?

1980cat · 05/04/2007 09:29

You can get three months backdated to get any more you have to have had a good reason for not applying sooner.

Payments due on bank holidays are always paid the day before so this Mondays payments are due on Friday.

AnnabelCaramel · 05/04/2007 09:30

Thank you! Is simply not knowing you were eligible a good reason do you think?

charliecat · 05/04/2007 09:32

Not when the adverts all say you can claim even if you earn up to 55 thousand pounds...

1980cat · 05/04/2007 09:33

You could try, but I don't think so.

AnnabelCaramel · 05/04/2007 09:34

I'd not even seen it advertised! Thanks for the help, I'll stick in an application and wait and see

MrsWho · 05/04/2007 22:35

Well it went in today but was £20 less than last week
