Tax credit specialist compliance team

Hi all looking for some advice if anyone can help. At the end of July i stopped my single tax credit claim and applied for a joint one as my partner has moved in.
The deadline for this to be completed was over a week ago, when i call to chase and see whats happening im told its with the specialist compliance team and if they need any information they will be in touch. The person i last spoke to said they have checked the notes and no additional information has been requested, and nothing has flagged up, but they cant tell me how long it will take to process nor can they chasr it up. Has anyone else been in a similar situation and how long should i expect to be waiting?

Did they say why it had gone to the specialist team ? do they suspect you were a couple before he moved in. Do you have a child together?

Hi. I submitted my renewal jn April and my claim was passed to the compliance team. They requested childcare invoices and bank statements back which I sent in May. I am still waiting for a response. I have called and chased jt up but was told someone will write to me soon. Seems they are taking longer than expected with these at the moment.

Sorry i have been so busy all weekend. I called today for an update and the guy said it was awaiting payment. Not too sure if i believe him though, i get told something different everytime i call. I will call again wednesday if nothing hits the bank.

Are you still being paid or have they suspended your payments? Compliance never wrote to me to ask fot any additional information so not sure what they was acutally checking!!
