Help! Universal tax credits and working tax credits

Hi,
I'm currently separating from my STBXH and preparing to move out of the family home so have been looking at what (if anything) I will be eligible for in terms of working tax credits.
I've looked at a benefits calculator that has given me two figures
One for working and child tax credits and one for universal credit
These are massively different figures so not really helping me prepare in the long run.
Does anyone know of you receive both or one or the other?
Thanks

You receive one or the other depending on if you live in an area where UC has been rolled out already.

Thank you, how do I find out if UC has been rolled out in my area or not yet?

I would contact your local job centre of department for work&pensions.

If you click on this link www.gov.uk/guidance/universal-credit-full-service-and-live-service there's links to the live service areas.

In the long term everyone will need to claim UC for child and working tax credits, so it would be a good idea to plan using the UC figure long term as the other is short term. There's also conditionality for work/attending job centre with UC.
