How to check if someone has a default notice or CCJ?

I am 'financially associated' with them, they are on my credit report. Would their default notice or CCJ be flagged on my monthly report or is there another way of checking?

If it is a ccj in just their name it won't matter to you or appear on your file. If it is something you were jointly responsible for like a loan in joint names then it will be both of you

Thanks Hannah. It would be in his name only, not joint.
From what I've been reading online, I understood that it won't affect my credit rating, it could/would impact any credit application I made, which is why I'm concerned.

Is this person a partner. Or ex partner? Is there a reason you are currently financially associated. It wouldn't effect your personal credit but it could effect your applications if it is say your husband as there is a close financial link

I complete a lot of credit checks in my job.
I have seen mortgage applications declined due to associated adverse bureau information.
Can be appealed though if there is no longer a financial/personal link
