Cost of home alarm

I am thinking of getting a house alarm installed. I live in a 4 bed terraced house. Has anyone had an alarm installed? How much should I expect to pay? Thanks

We had ours installed about 15 years ago. I think it was about £700 then. The annual maintenance fee is about £120 a year now.

Ive been recently quoted similar to the above poster.

I chose alarms on windows & doors though as I wander around alot at night, rather than sensors.

I dont want to be alerted when someone is already in my house. I want to know when they are outside trying.
