Had a really busy few months so cant remember exactly when but at some point in june i did my tax credit renewal, i only started claiming in february so never done one before, when i log in online it says it should be processed and updated by 8th august, its still not done and now im worried that i have done something wrong/its got lost in the system and my money will just stop. Has anyone any experience of this? Does it usually take longer then they say? And is my award likely to change (up or down) as in do they normally change or is it just a formality. Im going back to work in a fortnight so needed to change my childcare costs but dont want to play around with it until my renewal thing is done incase it just breaks it.
