Has anyone claimed for bank charges in Scotland?

I haven't - but I think the main difference is that if the bank chooses not to make an offer and you have to take it to small claims, the Scottish limit on small claims is much lower than the English one - under £1,000.

Ah, this is interesting, I must mention this to my DH. We are currently pursuing the Abbey (we are in Scotland) and DH picked up Small Claims forms the other day but I am sure our claim will be for over £1,000. This is really interesting.

Hi, I lodged a claim against HBOS.
It was for nearly 3 grand.
Just lodge an ordinary claim instead of a small claim.
The major difference is that you can only claim back 5 years in Scotland as opposed to 6 years in England.

I think I got the 6 years as well tbh.

We are claiming against RBS and have just filled out claim forms for court paperwork and paid court fee so scary stuff! trying to get back £3000!
