I've applied for pip for my eupd and ptsd and recieved a letter back saying they do not need a face to face assesment and just need to gather more evidence from mental health team and dctors. And that once theyve done this they will write to me with their decision.

I was wondering if anyone has had this before and what the outcome was. How long did it take from this point and What rate do you get?

Thank you

I got this with my PIP application as I made it clear in my form that having a f2f would be very traumatic and stressful for me. They just contacted my CPN and CMHT for information, and wrote to me with the decision afterwards. I got enhanced rate for both care and mobility, an ongoing award which means they won't assess me again for at least 10 years. Previously I had an indefinite DLA award at higher rate care and low mobility, so I got an increase in the amount I get. The application took about 2 months from the time I sent off the forms.
