Garage repairs: cheap(er) roof replacement or complete rebuild?

I can't decide whether to spend a lot of money replacing the roof on our garage or more for a complete rebuild. The garage is crap, basically. Prefab moulded concrete, looks like brick from a distance but looks cheap and shoddy close up. The roof MUST be replaced as soon as possible. We need the garage for storage so tearing it down and getting rid of it isn't one of my options.

Option 1: £2500 for a new roof
Option 2: £6000 for a complete rebuild

I can spend £6000 on a rebuild, but I wasn't planning on it and don't really want to. I had other home improvements I was planning on doing soon and it would wipe out the money I've earmarked for this. On the other hand, £2500 seems an awful lot of money just to roof something that is, in my opinion, unsightly and in bad shape.

Is it worth spending the extra money? I assume a nice brick garage that's in keeping with our house will add more value than roofing the current one, but I'm loathe to spend it. Talk some sense into me, please!
