Child tax credit drop

So checked my bank and my normal child tax credits have dropped but I got a one off payment to. I can't ring them till Monday so this is bugging me! I did do the renewal recently for the first time, only been claiming since February. Its not a huge amount but affects me. Anyone else? Haven't had any correspondence on it.

Mine dropped too and so did others I have talked to. I am waiting on the paperwork to explain but it looks like a drop is on the cards for a lot of people. Thankfully we can juggle and cut back elsewhere so we aren't to affected by it.

This happened to me too. I got an extra one off payment then over £100 drop per month. Why give me the extra payment if my payments were to be reduced anyway? Pretty much most of my payments goes towards paying childcare fees so I can work. I would suggest phoning then for a breakdown . If the drop in payments means financial hardship they may be able to make extra payments.

Thanks both. Seems like an overall drop then, wish I had had a letter first. I will ring Monday to check. Urgh, just when I had budgeted to the penny this changes it all!
