what do you think?
they are offering £1.30 a day which I find laughable.
In the time the phone has been unuseable ds1 was in hospital with a temp of 106 and having various tests etc, and mother was wanting to talk at length about her cardiac bypass surgery.
i haev explained all of this to talk talk and they have promised to fix the phone within 48hrs on 3 sep occasions!

And now we are going back to bt, and talk talk are sending us a bill!!! grrr

so i shall adk for our rental money back- phone and non functioning broadband, and bill them for me mobile bill, but i aslo want (punative?) compo as it has caused a great amount of distress, i keep mobile for emergencies and don't want to get brain cancer from it

so what do you reckon I should demand from talk talk?

Talk talk are crap IMO. We had loads of problems with our direct debit after we changed banks. They just couldn't get it right on their system and we had problems every month. Went back to BT when we got a final demand letter.

IMO you should get back the line rental for the 5 week period (and broadband cost if you couldn't use that either) and the additional cost of using a mobile. The way I see it is they haven't provided the service so you shouldn't have to pay...getting the money out of them is another matter tho .
