Tax credit dla premiums?

Hi they've finally recalculated my tax credits to include my daughters Middle rate dla award (according to manage tax credits online.)
It's not showing a back payment on there yet, but I was reassured over the phone it would be.
How long until they calculate the back payment and process it?
Many thanks

it took mine about 4 weeks, from getting nothing without DLA we suddenly got £250 pcm, I am scared they have made an error and have not spent it yet, it is sat in a separate account at the moment

Hi vickibee my manage tax credits online account, is saying my payments have increased £57 a week, my daughter is on Middle rate. I think it's higher if your child gets high rate care.
Why don't you go on manage tax credits online and see how much your tax credits have increased, or call them.

we get Middle rate care and low rate mobliity, the problem we have is my DH is SE and his income is unpredictable.

Vickibee I'm no expert but your best bet is to always underestimate your income.
That way once the tax year is up you can declare the final amounts on your renewal, any owed to you will come as a lump sum.
Better to be underpaid then overpaid I think.
