restrictive covenant indemnity insurance - so how much is this going to cost????

So we're trying to sell the house. It turns out that a small extension we had built on our house breaches a restrictive covenant. Solicitor says we'll need to get indemnity insurance.
Anybody got any idea how much this is going to set us back? (stress!)

Your solicitor should have advised you how much it would cost you as they are the ones that can arrange it for you

ok - i'll check with her. Glad I won't have to arrange it! Thanks for the quick response!

I wouldn't have thought you would have to arrange it, I work for a firm of solicitors (i'm not a solicitor though) and we arrange indemnity policies for clients
