any credit card tarts online?

I've just tried to transfer my virgin credit card to halifaxone and it says it's not currently taking transfers from that particular company.pretty sure i've done it in the past.anyone know?

Check the small print to see who owns each card - perhaps the ultimate holding company is the same? ie maybe Virgin are part of Bank of Scotland?

It's a pain that they charge for transfers now - I have been a rate tart for many years! The 0% purchase ones are good when you want to buy something big like electricals and sofas though.

OK scrap that idea - Virgin cards are issued by MBNA - just call Halifax and ask them why.

well that's what i originally thought but virgin and halifax are issued by totally different people. only thing is, they both have mastercard on. or do all credit cards have that on?!

Loads of credit cards are Mastercard - basically the majority all belong to Mastercard or Visa so that won't make a difference.
