Hello. I'm just starting the proces of trying to claim back unfair bank charges from Natwest. There's sooo much been posted on MN on the subject - sorry to be lazy, but has anyone claimed from Natwest and have the standard letters got you success?

I sent the standard letters and got told they felt they were fair and we weren't getting paid, what else can we do, we're owed a lot of money, we had a terrible year in 2004.

I had a letter asking for £5 for copies of statements. Haven't gone any further yet. Don't think i have that much to claim back. Must sort it though!

Thanks all, I will keep you posted, and hope anyone else with Natwest advice can post too.
Busybean - thanks for the offer. I'll see where I get to with the standard letters first (before I bother you!) I don't do anything fast (full time job to get in the way of managing my life) but I really need to get on with it.
