Cancelling car insurance

Hi,
Just picking your brains. I may need to cancel our car insurance. We pay for monthly for it and as such have a credit agreement. Does anybody know what happens with this credit agreement? Will we have to pay the whole lot off. There is nearly 10 months left. The terms are very difficult to decipher.

Why do you need to cancel it? Have you sold the car?

Ring them and ask ! You will be entitled to some sort of refund on the full amount I would suspect

Ringing them is going to give you a more precise answer than asking here!

I used to work doing credit checks for an insurance finance provider. In that case, the insurance was paid in full to the insurer, and you were loaned the money by a third party insurance finance company. So yes - you still had to pay, because you still owe them the money.
