Me and DP desperately need to move, have DC in one bed house and have DSC every weekend... Very small and cramped and main cause of arguments/tension.
Our ideal rented house has come available, however we have no money in savings as had to use all of it to fund maternity leave as only qualified for SMP.
Can I take out a loan to pay for deposit on new place and all letting agent fees?
I could afford loan repayments etc - it's just saving would take 6+months (loan can be repayed within 1 year easily)
However would having a loan affect referencing/ credit history on new property?
Both of our families have no money to lend or would choose not to so other than saving loan is our only option.
