Has anyone else breathed a sigh of relief this evening? The money I was standing to lose (single working parent circa £1500) was quite terrifying.

I don't think dla , pip etc was ever excluded from the welfare cap. Pip was always intended to cut the benefit bill.

It was intended to cut the bill by changing the criteria and type of assessment etc.

It is a non means tested benefit so I don't think it will be included in the cap.

It hasn't been included in the past and I can't find anywhere that says it will now be.
