Don't know if i'm dreaming or not? My agent paid by visa and theres talk of us getting our money back.

Is there someone on mumsnet whose agent gave the money back cos she was able to get the payments back thru visa or something?

congrats on getting your money back I unfortunately wont get mine as I paid by solo card its good to see some are getting their money back

I'm so sorry that you have no hope of getting your money back at all.I'm not sure i will actually get mine back either yet.I won't believe it till i get it tho.
I'm sure theres someone here whose agent has already got the money back.Just wondering why ours is taking so long.

i saw on the news that so many firms/celebrities are giving donations for all you farepack sufferers. i do hope you get some of your money back

ThanksATM anyone who lost money will get on average 39 pounds from the farepak fund.It was soooo good of the public and the companies to contribute but 39 quid ain't gonna pay for anyones xmas.

Still can't believe my money could be bloody stolen like that.

we will have a good christmas dispite farepak and the thieving shit that stole our money. I know there are a good few people who have had their money back. have you look at www.unfairpak.co.uk there are a lot of people on there who have had money back and loads of information

If you paid by credit card you should get it back. The point about credit cards is that your contract is with the credit card company so if you do not get the goods you contracted for you calim against them, not the supplier.

That is why I ALWAYS use my credit card for online / mail order purchase or deposits for goods - even if you do not want one for credit it is good to have one just for that.

There will always be a big retail insolvency around Xmas as the coffers fill up before suppliers have to be paid. This year Farepak, last year was Courts - do not be caught next year!!
