How to find an independent financial advisor?

That really. The one I usually use has retired. Is there a list somewhere???

There is also one where you can get recommendations, I'll see if I can find it and I'll post the link.

Vouched for are paid leads and you won't get a full list. The other place to look (assuming you've asked family and friends already) is www.thepfs.org/yourmoney/find-an-adviser/

This is a list of all the CII qualified advisers (the gold standard). These are the only Chartered Financial Planners. Make sure you confirm they are independent and not tied to a particular company.
