Does anyone know how much cash you can get out from inside your bank in one day?

I don't think there is a limit. But you want to bring your passport with you.

Not sure but why don't you ring the bank and ask if they need any advanced notice.

Had been thinking it might be around £500...would need a suitcase for 10K, no? (although do not actually need quite that much?)

I've got out up to £1.5K from HSBC without any problems.

depends on your branch - how much they have there

if you have the correct ID in theory there's no limit (i believe)

can you ring your bank? every bank will have a slightly different policy. however, it's your money so you can have as much as you want, but you'l probably have to give notice so they'll actually have it there for you. also, if it is a huge amount you're after it would be more sensible to have the money electronically transfered or take a banker's draft.

HBOS is £2k.

if you go to the business banking counter they can ive you it in larger denomination notes than at the normal counters.

That's without any notice, but if you give them 48hrs notice you can take out more.

Depends on your bank, I work p/t in one and our daily limit is £750 if you want more you need to give 48hours notice and provie photo id passport/driving license, no id no cash! although we do strech rules for regulars if we have the money in stock and we get rewarded at xmas time when they bring in boxes of chocs for us!!

At my bank you can get £300 out the machine, and need a second form of ID to get more than £200 over the counter. Not sure what the maximum is though, (surely you can take as much as is in your account?)
