The title says it all really, he has a meeting tomorrow for their pre sentencing report. Does anyone have any idea what he could expect in that meeting as we have no idea?

hmmm whne they sent off fr reports i presume tis an "all options" one ( ie considering custody)
what did htye say in court?

puddytats · 22/10/2006 21:05

Just that he is still on bail until 15th december when he has to return for sentencing, the judge also said that just because they had released him on bail now does not mean that it could go that way in sentencing or words to that effect?

TheDaVinciCod · 22/10/2006 21:07

yes yes htey say that
.

what does your lawyer think

whats the charge?
theft in breach fo trust?

puddytats · 22/10/2006 21:09

He seems to think there is no chance of avoiding a custodial sentence and that if we do that might not be so good because the prosecution will appeal on the principle/precedent that will be set and he is likely to get a harsher one.
The charges are 3 forgery, 3 theft, 3 using/making false instrument and i cant remember the last one.
Also the breach of trust issue

well twhat happened

puddytats · 24/10/2006 08:50

He said he was as remorseful as possible and aknowledged the crime. The lady was very nice. He thinks she will recommend a mixture of community service, probation and curfew. However we have previously been told because of the breach of trust there is no way he will avoid a custodial sentence. Really worried now that he is pinning his hopes on this and will come crashing down at the end. She will probably want to see him again between now and the 15th december as it is such a long time between pleading guilty and the sentencing.
Apparently he had to explain why and how, and what the impact had been on the family. Also whether i knew or not.
