HMRC online: Is the 12 digit number the ID or password ?

Some while ago I very helpfully Hmm emailled myself the 12 digit number associated with my HMRC online SA account.

Just the number, because of course, any dumb schmuck would remember its relevance and which field it should go in.Grin

So I've forgotten, and am hoping it's not just the activation code.

If it isn't the ID, will the ID be my email or 10 digit UTC ?

Aaagh.

Yep! Grin
I think if you have your id they will email a forgotten password. I'm guessing you're on a deadline!

I'm in!

The key was to remember the passwd is 8+ chars and 1+ numeric.
[They never-ever-ever-ever-ever bloody remind you of the passwd form [passwd people that is] one of my very top peeves with the 'net]
