HMRC Online change of info

Hello, Don't know if I'm in the right place or not but here goes....

After getting married I used the HMRC online contact form to change my name. They sent an email confirming they had received it and said the next time they will be in contact it will be to confirm if it has been done or if I need to send further proof (which I can scan and email apparently). I do not need to ring or write to them until this has been done, and they aim to do it within 15 working days.

I did this at the beginning of November and have still not heard anything. Has anyone else done it this way? if so how long did it take?

TIA

HMRC do not care what you call yourself so long as you pay them

and they are months behind on correspondence
