Anyone sold a car since the tax disc changes?

I sold mine 30/9 but had already taxed it from 1/10. I sent the paper work that day but haven't heard anything back from car tax although the sale has been acknowledged.
How long should it take to get the tax back?

I sold one ebd of September and tax rebate cheque (pay order) arrived beginning of this week. So say about 4 weeks.

Have you had the note from DVLA saying you are no longer the registered keeper. That came though to me within 2 weeks.
Did you sell it to trade, thus sent off V5C/3 part of the V5, or to a private individual, thus they send section 1&8 of V5 to DVLA?
