I could really do with a bit of advice please. I used to pay a Carer to work with our very disabled daughter. We parted on bad terms and now this woman is claiming I still owe her £150 ! We signed no time sheets or anything like that the whole time she worked for us was all verbally agreed and the final bill she gave us was 150 to much so we didn't pay. Now I'm getting emails threatening legal action, surely if she has no proof that I owe her this fantasy money there is nothing that can be done ? Any advice gratefully received x

Just tell her that. You'd be happy to pay if she can prove you owe it and she should feel free to take you to court.

It's not even our money either it's direct payments from social services. Shall I ignore or get some advice it's so bloody stressful :(
