i was recently on a gambling site and was playing a game called deal or no deal. i got to the bit where i chose my box and had to pick other boxes well you know the drill. anyway i had 5 boxes left 25p £100 or £125 (not sure which) the jackpot which was 94k and 2 other red boxes. i was offered £16.16 and i clicked no deal but it came up deal. i have called them and they say they are looking into it. just wandered if any1 thought i had any hope of them admitting they made a mistake

don't understand your dilemma as I have no gambling knowledge but my advice FWIW is just don't go there.

starshaker · 21/09/2006 23:06

yeah but my point is if their system didnt mess up i would have 94k

no starshaker, you would probably have had the box with 25p in it because the only people who win on gambling sites are the people who own them.

starshaker · 21/09/2006 23:27

but it showed me what was in my box and it was the jackpot

you will never win the jackpot on an internet gambling site.

ask on Moneysaving expert starshaker

Kelly1978 · 22/09/2006 20:19

there is E-Commerce Online Gambling Regulation and Assurance (eCogra), they endorse sites that they approve with a play it safe logo, so might be worth looking for that. Or try the the gambling commission
HTH, I don't have personal exp, jsut had a google.
