Ex applying for wtc, why are they asking for my details also?

Ex rang me today to tell me he has been told he can apply for wtc but he needs my details also.

He is the NRP but that shouldn't matter as over 25 so you can apply without having a child. I just found it strange them asking for my details also and thinking what if you weren't on good terms with your ex? Can anyone shed some light on it?

I asked him to bring it down and look at it as he's not the best at filling out forms (dyslexia and dyspraxia). Turns out they don't need my details at all, he must have read it wrong
